Annual Salary: Band B (from £11.79 to £12.18 per hour) 

Contract: Casual

Hours: Zero hours – Flexible between 8.45am and 3.15pm

(There may be additional hours available to work between 7.45am and 9.00am and 3.00pm and 6.00pm in Woodies Before & After School Club as required).

Weeks per Year: Variable – term time only

Damson Wood Nursery and Infant School Academy, including Woodies Childcare, is a welcoming, child-centred setting. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and caring practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team to care for our children .

This role involves developing and delivering high-quality inclusive learning opportunities and play for children between the ages of 2 and 7 years, including those with additional needs. You will support the provision by planning and delivering activities in an exciting, nurturing environment. Building effective relationships with parents and carers, as well as children and colleagues, is essential.

This position would suit a newly-qualified or experienced practitioner who is creative, enthusiastic and has a passion for supporting children’s early development.

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent is essential for this role.
